Achieving Gender Equality, Action by Action • Viksit Bharat@2047

Indian Youth Parliament - 31st Session

The 31st National Session of the Indian Youth Parliament (IYP) is being organized from 15–17 September 2026 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, coinciding with the International Day of Democracy and celebrating the Silver Jubilee Year (25 Years) of the IYP movement.

Centered on the theme “Achieving Gender Equality, Action by Action” (लैंगिक समानता: क्रिया से क्रिया तक - नारी शक्ति वन्दन परिप्रेक्ष्य), the session emphasizes that genuine transformation is the outcome of persistent, practical, and measurable action rather than merely grand slogans. As India advances towards Viksit Bharat@2047, this forum drives the shift from policy formulation into grassroots execution.

  • Cultural Action: Challenging entrenched daily stereotypes and fostering shared responsibilities within households.
  • Educational Action: Ensuring every girl has uninterrupted access to skills and knowledge required for future leadership.
Core Objectives
  • Bridge the Gap: Acting as a vital link connecting youth with governance, legislative mechanisms, and civil society.
  • Develop Leaders: Offering an elite parliamentary forum to cultivate democratic values, public speaking, and policy intellect.
